Small businesses are gaining more popularity, and there are plenty of them around Chicago that you can go and visit! If you’re not sure what a small business is, it's a smaller owned business, with fewer employees, and much less revenue than a regular business. It is extremely important to help support small businesses, to help give amazing people with amazing ideas recognition, and support the people working within the business.

Many people love the ideas of small businesses but don’t really know any that they might be interested in. Well, there are plenty of small businesses that have many different things. There are some that own places you can walk into, and others that are online. At Von Steuben, we have some students with small businesses that you can support and checkout!

Baddies Cosmetics Co is a Latina-owned small business. Mariana Rodriguez, a freshman at Von, started this business. Sold on her website is lashes, glosses, lip scrubs, different bundles, etc. She keeps her prices very affordable and is super sweet when wanting to purchase something. On her website, there are different collections, like a Princess Collection, Valentine’s Day Collection, etc. You can also purchase sample sizes if you wanted to try different things.
