Dina Goritsan
Dina Goritsan (she/her) is a sophomore at Von Steuben who created the newspaper club along with one other student. In her free time, she loves to read, listen to music, and write, which is one reason why she co-created the newspaper club! Writing has always been a passion and hobby of hers, and she thought it would be a super fun experience to share her ideas and thoughts with the Von community using our newspaper platform! She is thrilled to be part of such a great group of people at Panther Press, and she looks forward to writing for various sections on the paper.
Karolina Kawula
Karolina Kawula (she/her) is a sophomore at Von who with her friend joined and created the newspaper club for other students to enjoy reading their peers' news about Vons Interesting Life, as well as for others to express themselves through writing. She writes articles about the current life (pandemic, CPS info, etc.) During her weekends she attends Polish school where she learns more about her polish heritage. Her main interests after school in Von Steuben are the swim team, Waterpolo, and Travel Club.

My name is Amina, and I’m a sophomore. I am currently apart of student council, environmental club and newspaper club. Last year I was apart of Student Literacy Group, and I hope to do that again this year. I really enjoy reading and my current favorite book is “The Secret History” by Donna Tart. I look forward to learning more about writing and spending time with everyone in newspaper club!
Ivette Montalvo
Ivette Montalvo (She/Her) is a sophomore student at Von Steuben High School. She decided to join Von's Panther Press because she enjoys writing and editing. She would like to write about student life and current events. The things she enjoys doing during her free time are reading books, watching shows, sleeping, talking to friends, swimming, ice skating, painting, and spending time with family.
Bryan Aguilar
Hi my name is Bryan Aguilar (he/him), i'm a freshman meaning that this will be the first club I join here at Von Steuben. I enjoy hanging out with friends and doing lots of sports. The newspaper club caught my attention because I would like to improve my writing skills. After school I'm either doing homework or kicking away at taekwondo. I love my dog Chloe, she is very energetic and likes to play a lot. I would've loved to join more clubs but since this is my freshman year, I'm mainly focusing on my academics.

Hi my name is Ameerah! I'm a freshman at Von Steuben and my pronouns are she/they. I love volleyball and hanging out with my friends. I joined the newspaper club because I love to write and read! I love photography and hope to take some cool photos for the Panther Press!
Nandini Patel
Nandini Patel is a sophomore at Von Steuben. She is a member of Von’s Pather Press, where she would love to write about the different clubs at Von. Nandini joined the newspaper club because she enjoys writing and always found it fascinating to get an opportunity to write about the different things happening at Von. Other clubs that Nandini is a part of are Student Council, Math Team, and Opt4Stem. Outside of school, she is very passionate about dance and music. She loves to try out or experience new and a distinct variety of things. She enjoys participating in teams where she can show her leadership skills and build a strong and communicative relationship. Even though she gets frustrated and anxious at times, she will always work hard and try her best!

Hi My name is Margad (she/her) a sophomore, and I like web design, and really enjoy after-school activities like newspaper and the color blue, I love to write about sports and have written an article for the sports section.
